A PROP report.
This pilot study investigates the role and structure of careers services in the light of institutional strategies for employability, enterprise, personal development planning (PDP) and employer engagement.
It looks at four universities, both pre- and post-1992, and explores their responses to new challenges and opportunities presented by these institutional strategies. It provides evidence of responses where the traditional core roles of careers services have been extended and others where there has been a radical restructuring of the service within alternative structures in the institution.
