FAQs

Where can I find a list of HECSU members?

A full list of current members can be found in members list.

I have heard a lot about Futuretrack. How can I find out more about it?

Logo: FuturetrackFuturetrack is an important five year longitudinal study of applicants to higher education. It tracks their experience from their initial application to their first years in employment. Full details of the information the research will provide over the period can be found on the Futuretrack website.

The initial sample frame was all UCAS applicants in 2006, providing a group of 130,000 who responded to the initial questionnaire. Details of the findings from this questionnaire are now available in the Applying for HE - the diversity of career choices, plans and expectations report.

HECSU is committed to the dissemination and use of the Futuretrack outcomes and a number of conferences and events will be organised to provide updates. Some HECSU members are already involved in a project, Putting Research Outcomes into Practice (PROP), and we are encouraging others to join HECSU and become involved.

How can I find other HECSU reports?

HECSU has commissioned and conducted many careers or graduate labour market reports and these can be found in research reports.
