Careers guidance

The provision of career guidance and advice lies at the heart of the work of university careers advisory services. However, the former model of guidance provision as a one-to-one hour-long interview has now been supplemented by a wide range of guidance interventions both within and additional to the curriculum. Guidance interventions are also likely to be provided electronically. Additional material is available in the Research notes and Research reports sections of this website. Readers should also visit individual university Careers Advisory Service websites, the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) website and the Graduate Prospects website.
