Employ international graduates to benefit your business

Research has shown that access to international markets can be enhanced by employing an international student or graduate. The local knowledge, cultural insights and language skills of an international employee can be advantageous when trading in international markets - something many British businesses are turning to due to the economic uncertainties and challenging trading conditions at home.

A new guide has been published highlighting the benefits of, and information on how to employ international students and graduates who have studied at UK institutions. The guide is based on original research by the The Council for Industry and Higher Education (CIHE)  and is endorsed by a number of organisations including the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) , The British Council  and National Association of Student Employment Services (NASES) .

The ‘Guide for employers recruiting international students and graduates’ PDF can be downloaded from PMI2 and international student employability on the The British Council  website.
