'Stop and Measure the Roses investigates the ways in which some UK university careers services measure their effectiveness and success. It presents findings from interviews with twenty university careers service directors, three university senior managers who include the careers service within their portfolio, two representatives of UK graduate recruitment and training organisations and one careers service director from a USA university.

The purpose of the research is to encourage discussion and analysis of the need for, and use of, key performance indicators in UK university careers services.'
