What is PROP?

HECSU supports practitioner research and development by:

  1. funding practitioner research projects and by
  2. managing a creative project, PROP (Putting Research Outcomes into Practice) where researchers and practitioners meet together to find innovative ways to use researched knowledge and practitioner expertise.

PROP is facilitated by Peter Hawkins of the Graduates into Employment Unit (GIEU) at the University of Liverpool. During 2008 the practitioner research project funding was combined with the projects emerging from PROP.
